Business Services employees qualify for waived registration fees for the 2027 Finance@UW Conference, schedule for March 16, 2027. Simply get supervisor approval, register for the conference, select “Pay later”, and email Dawn Rekoske to notify her you registered.

Dimensions of Wellness
Self-care and wellness means different things to each individual. There are generally 7 or 8 recognized “dimensions” that, when you are working toward being healthy and balanced in each area, create wellness.
The 8 dimension model, adopted by entities like SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), emphasize that mental and physical health are linked together.
Taking care of your mind
- Accepting yourself for who you are, and becoming aware of accepting your feelings
- Valuing self-exploration
- Having a generally positive outlook; practicing gratitude
- Managing stress effectively
Taking care of what’s around you
- Being aware of the impact you have on the environment
- Living in clean, safe, and adequate housing
- Developing safe habits to avoid accidents and injury
- Enjoying time in nature

- Developing long-term and short-term financial goals
